 While Lua commands can do many different operations with the microscope, the interface provided here is useful only for running scans. After the script is loaded and "Scan" button is clicked, it sends the script to [[hwboxserver|hwserver]] and asks for running it. Then it periodically asks for all the scanned data available at the hwserver, up to size of the data allocated, or up to end of the script, as reported by the hwserver.
